    walther g22

hi has any body had much to do with the walther g22 trigger assy other than being a very accurate rifle the trigger disconector has taken it job quite seriously and likes to get a bit carried away and keep the trigger disconnected it probably thinks its being funny but im losing my sense of humour with it any one had this problem

I have one. Yep they are glitch. Took it to bits 5 times before it would work again. Dismantle inside a rubbish bag or you will lose the springs
Very hard to clean and that causes these problems. . That was the problem with mine it hadn't been cleaned properly in its life time.
Eventually when it all went back together it functions correctly and as you say very accurate as well. Some folks t6hrow the two springs away..

Google it tons of info out there on these.
"This is my Flag... Ill only have the one ..

Thanks I'll re clean it I find it very easy to take apart the two springs came separately in a plastic bag with mine I've made a new trigger linkage for mine which is a massive improvement

Sell the peice of scrap and buy a left hand bolt gun like a cz or anny if you want to take thursdays serrously mate i tryed almost every semi there is to try and the only one i found capale of keeping up was ether a kidd or 10\22 kitted out with all the kidd parts you also need a desent scope if you're only playing then all good but

i just think your not doing yourself any favors with that g22 if you want to get good at that particular type of shooting

Its primary use is a small game rifle I would never expect target rifle accuracy from it because it isn't a target rifle you'd be pretty disappointed if a Kidd didn't shoot better they are 3x plus what I paid for my g22 I also own a 10 22 and the walther will easily shoot just as well

I see your talking quite modified rifles this shoots well without having to go out and by a gun then spend more on it to do what it was spose to do in the first place

all good mate was just advice as when I was there a couple of weeks ago it seemed you were struggling with the g22 just like me with my shitty marlin if I got back into it full time I would buy good gear again
as I said its just if you really wanted to get serous about it..... if your just going down for practice/trigger time then there's nothing wrong with the g22

if you did want to really get into it you could mod your 10/22 with the kid barrel and trigger and get a hawke 6-24 (basic but work well) it would cost just over a grand

I would use my Mauser as it doesn't need any mods to be accurate

You can't polish a turd, however you can roll them in glitter/Kidd parts.

This is true, if you try it makes a bigger mess than if it had hit the fan

I've had a go with a full kidd 10/22 and it was fantastic. $2k is more than I'd spend on a rimfire tho, my $200 brno is more accurate than I am
