@bill999 $400 sounds a good deal. Im actually just paying some $ks for bamboo to make my new kitchen so March or April is probably the "get serious" month, so I'll just keep an eye out for now.

It would also be sort of end of season so there maybe more choice.

Dont discount those 'old' Omarks... I for one had one of them and was hell impressed in its accuracy... Only reason I sold it was to raise money for my current platform.. The Omarks are awesome shooters... Only costs (if not done) is to have the reciever drilled and tapped for scope bases (iff fitting a scope).

@NFT No im not discounting one, I even pondered a Mosin nagant at $400. I will discuss an Omark at my gun club and see what they think. I know I cant pony up several K for a second hand modern rifle for a year or 2 but $400 or a bit more is a goer. Especially as I want a decent 22lr "trainer" as well and get a reloading setup and get a jacket and all the bits needed....and and etc etc. I think she who must be obeyed might notice that much money being spent and I like my testicles where they are presently located.
