Cheers. Wasn't too bad, temp hovered around 2°C all day, but there was a bit of wind chill. The worst was my hands, I didn't have gloves with me.
Haha, I was 100% prepared for them to bust me, only the fact I had a good breeze in my face and was uphill of them made getting that close possible. The camo mask really helped for when they did spot me though.
I've only hunted sika once, and shot two on that trip. A 8 point stag and a spiker. Both were within 30 metres and broadside...bet I can't replicate that on my next trip up (which is in the pipeline at the moment, and the bow is coming).
I'm drawn to the mountains and the bush, it's where life is clear, where the world makes the most sense.
