The Kepler is an awful long way from Wet Jacket. But it seems these folk are pretty credible ... I'd love to think the moose are still around.

Rule 1) whenever you see something, or think you see something do not tell the Department of Corruption about it...

They are likely already planning how they can spend 50 million to track the moose down and eradicate it.

My guess is the tourists have been told the story of the Fiordland moose and have just decided to have a bit of fun by saying they saw one.

99% of tourists have a phone or camera on them with quick access to it to take photos.Give me 10 seconds,I could get my phone out of my inside jacket top pocket and take a photo.Il beleave there's moose when there's a 2025 photo.

-seems interesting thats its Canadians seeing this these mooseys -- now they will be familiar with a moose and likely elk but are they familiar with red deer - no likely not - so how about they saw a red stag in poor light wet muddy they would look a very dark colour and big just sayin

My thoughts as well. When they talk deer they are thinking light colored Whitetail or Mule deer. A dirty old spiker or rutty stag would look more to them a moose than a deer.

They've had over a hundred years to get there.

I dunno, our deer look more like elk than moose. Show a snow mexican a photo of a deer and they automatically think elk/wapiti from what the wife's relatives have said. They usually know moose, and they can tell what isn't one that's for sure.
