Quite usual for many of us VC
It takes 43 muscle's to frown and 17 to smile, but only 3 for proper trigger pull.
What more do we need? If we are above ground and breathing the rest is up to us!

Unfortunately a fact of life for us lot stuck up here in paradise. Kaimais is nearest and that is only 2 and a bit hours, but bloody hard work once you get there. I personally prefer to drive the extra and go to Ruatahuna.
Well done on the hunt outinabout. Do you think spring is sprunging down there yet or still a bit early?

Nice to have one hanging up in camp early into a trip Outnabout ,bit of prime veni great addition to the freezer too.

Not so bad VC if you can swing a few days leave to tack onto a weekend ,makes it worth while.

Like Rushy saying its normal, be nice to live in the Nelson lakes district ,or anywhere in the south island again .

Picked up a mate on the way down. Stopped in Taupo for a couple of hours for another mate then on from there. Makes for a long day both ways. We were on a private back country block.
Love the Ureweras. Go there every year for the roar.
