@Norway 69 grn Targex (NZ made - Berger jacket/hollow point). 3K fps from 20' barrel. Model 7 rem. They perform very well.

(for bulk ammo in a Savage Lightweight I use 56 grn factory Geco ammo that has a red poly tip and that is very good too at a good price. Accurate and flattens them).

Awesome stuff @Tahr..... showed some of the boys at the range today ,photos etc,but they were particularly interested in the combo reload numbers.... and especially at 421 yards ....
We sent a box of 56 grn downrange to the 500 yd targets,(which I personally wouldn’t try hunting)and was bloody surprised at their accuracy and grouping.... they certainly do flatten out.I think 500 yds is extreme for this round at that distance,but was pleasantly surprised....enjoyed the post very much
