    LED Light Bars

I know I'm rehashing an older topic but... Who's recently bought for a 4WD and whats the best buy out there at the mo'? Looking for something around the 750mm long. I've checked out the Big Red (Narva) and they look ok but either too short or too long.

Got this one off trademe. Better put together than a few of the other chinese made ones. It's spot only, but does cover about 30degrees out each side as well. Only required a little bit of grinding of the mounting screws to get everything to be locked up nice and snug. 15,000 Lumens, and 720mm long.

i repair them quite often, as well as led spots (gadgetman gets my junk pile to play with)
the narvas are good, the gun city bars are pretty good too. but dont get the supercheap ones !! they fill with water in heavy rain let alone river crossing

I got this one (34in) to try on the boat. Haven't installed it yet, but gave it a try with jumper leads, really lit up the street.
Looks OK quality. I'm debating weather to unscrew everything and run a bead of silicon everywhere, before installing.

Something to do with getting the light bar 'wiped off' by a low hanging branch?

I get the branch thing... I have a 127 cm on the roof above windshield,no glare,no distraction ... lights the world up...,like high beam in the fog,worthless... never use it in the fog anyway....use hand held spotlights,of the same calibre, work just fine

looks almost like a 22" kit I got over a year ago off trademe.
The side lights weren't rectangle though. That was only $120ish from memory so pretty close. happy with it for the cost.
Only thing is I had to do a jumper off the high beam on the headlight for a power wire so it would only come on high beam, otherwise you could switch it on/off when you like.
I had a WOF due a week after I got it and didn't want any issues otherwise I may have left it as is.

I already had mounting points and wiring in place, so did not require any fabrication. Tried a vehicle with a lightbar on the roof rack, and I didn't like it when used in the rain.
