amen to that, even if located by the service provider the marks can be off, worked on one job, we looked at the locator paint marks, and it just didn't seem right compared to the plans, hand dug located them to verify which we did as standard anyways, the paint marks were 1.2m and above off and the 33kv line was in our window.
lets say there was an internal investigation done by the service provider very very quickly
