Thread: New tyres

I had new BFGs fitted , they balanced them up , from memory was 180 grams of lead on 1 tyre & slightly less on other 1 . ( was half the rim ) .Imagine if id lost the lead off them , be like driving on square wheels . I spat the dummy when I realised And returned them. Shop wasn't happy , tried to say rims must be out , we checked them perfect . New tyres & never went back . I wondered if they where seconds ? if there such a thing ?
