Real guns start with the number 3 or bigger and make two holes, one in and one out
It is quite a few months since I have done anything that daring. Anyway won’t it be a tad cold for those sorts of shenanigans? I would have thought that a late summer / early autumn get together would be a more appropriate timing. Ross may even run to a skinny dip in your trough at that time of year. He seems to like to give that a crack. Ha ha ha ha
It takes 43 muscle's to frown and 17 to smile, but only 3 for proper trigger pull.
What more do we need? If we are above ground and breathing the rest is up to us!

Mrs M will come with me this time. I have very recently got some new plumbing and a valve job so she wants to keep an eye on me. I didnt think I could make it this year but the recovery is going well.
Velocity is thrilling, but diameter does the real killing.
I'll be attending for first time also with my wife as caregiver/chaperone/hunting buddy.
Geez, I hope this crap weather goes away.

@XR500 hopefully this time I am correct in reminding everyone that we are now just a week out from the annual general meeting of the colonialist oppressors and shooters and shaggers society. Can you please advise what nocturnal temperature we low landers can expect to encounter. Maca and I were a little under prepared for the fridge like conditions in Waikaremoana a couple of weeks ago and I am not looking for a repeat.

Personally I'm going to prepare for it being either hot or cold, sunny or overcast, calm or windy, possibly both. It might be dry or it could be wet so I'll be ready for those as well. I've also anticipated the possibility for swarms of sandflies and mosquitos.
Overkill is still dead.
That wasn't a chainsaw that was snoring and it was close
Hi everyone,
At last count its looking like 20 plus hopefuls are heading here next weekend. Overnight temps are around 3 degrees
It would be smart to be prepared for all sorts of weather.
The evening meal usually turns into a pot luck dinner setup.
There might be some pav and icecream for desert.
Chairs, plates, kfs, your own beverages etc etc need tro come with you.
plenty of room for caravans/tents etc.
See you all there

Nah not a chainsaw more like an old D8 pushing hard with a buggered muffler.
