Not interested in the show anymore to be honest. I'd rather sit round a fire with similar minded people, even if it's raining

I would prefer to do both - one day at Get Together ( some Hare / Rabbit shooting included ) , one day at Sika Show, if possible. Separate dates work for me and I'm prepared to do the driving.
Hopefully something can be worked out.

Mystery Creek to @XR500 s is only 120-130 km, go to Show on Saturday and then head off to get together early arvo.
Or leap out of the sack early on Sunday feeling a box birds, knock up breakfast for the others and head off to the Show opens at 9.

Well that settles it. We will stay with the original dates. People can come a day early or stay a day late, there's plenty to do. We might even have the hot shower plumbed up by then

If anyone wishes to drag their trailer here and do some firewood, there's 50 lifetimes worth of bluegum on the farm. Can even crank up the hydraulic splitter on the tractor to make splitting easy. Just bring ya chainsaw.

Just keep it away from the back of the bulldozer. @XR500 has form. Forewarned is forearmed.

From someone with experience of the back of things it's probably very wise advice

I'll probably have no money to spend at the Sika Show.
    So could be keen.

The water would have to be pretty high to imperil your place.
