Yes they are 3.7V, and the blurb in the link above states that they are not direct replacements for normal AA's as the voltage is double and in many devices it's gauranteed to cause damage.
You try them in your garmin GPS then let us know how it goes ��
Generally the GPS will use 3x 1.2V rechargeable cells so you could bridge a couple of slots and use a single Li.
