    The problem is that the slightest gap opening up along the edge brings in freezing air and I wake up

    For this reason I tend to switch to a full sleeping bag, well actually a zipperless Sierra Designs hybrid job, for low single digits or below

    Yeh it seems the pad attachment is pretty key hence why the Nunatak and Katabatic or probably my first choice as they have the best design to stop draughts. That and making sure its wide enough.
