Yeah, bout right. They start to "curl up" on the edges etc and eventually its time to replace.

4 months is ok on a phone, I guess. But you're using that item every day, unlike a GPS.

Of course you could go for the new(ish) Rino model:

    Garmin Rino 650 review

which is the dogs danglies GPS with a UHF radio combined and also allows you to see and text your hunter mate on the screen!

Generally Garmin maps are expensive - map toaster etc work out better - or the free stuff available -

    I'll look on monday though

Do you sell screen protectors and hard case (or sft case) covers for Garmin Rino 650?

    Cheers

They aren't on the list I have at home - but then again neither are the maps but we get those

Will find out on Monday if we can get them (not stocked by us I know that)

Went with the 62s. Thanks for those links though Stu. I'm no pro hunter and am really just after it for finding where I am at any given time at this stage.

Thanks for coming to the party Fairgame and matching DSE price. Much rather my money stay floating round this country.

    Good choice Nibblet

You wont be dissapionted they are a gret unit .... just dont let mum get her hands on it

Then she'll see where you have "Actually" been

I used the "Sight and Go" feature lots ... makes finding your deer easy as.

    Cheers

Shes alright, gets to go to Melbourne to do some shopping soon so I get my free rain.
Any specific batteries you would recommend to use in this unit over others?
