Loco Libre is favourite red/orange. The EE is greeen open footbox. Warmer and less weight with closed footbox. The MCIII is also very good with 850+ fill. The quilts are very warm.

I've spent in excess of 250 nights in my ZPacks Duplex tent and it's still going strong. Get yourselves some Dyneema Composite Fabric repair tape for any holes etc and you're sorted. I'd like to get a DCF tarp in the future, any word on if Dillon will be making them @dannyb?

On the quilt front, I just got a Hammock Gear Economy Burrow quilt for all my bush work and it's great. Good price for weight point I think. If I need even lighter, I'll grab my ZPacks quilt.

I’ve had some discussion with Dillon about a dyneema tarp. It’s on his list but the cost of material coupled with the need to develop a prototype are obstacles. If we were able to demonstrate a good level of interest that might help. I wonder how many of us would want one. We could also discuss design. My starting point would be the HMG 2.5 x 3.

I'd be looking at 3x3 or even 3x4, I guess half the issue for Dillon is that to buy the Dyneema in quantities to make individual orders it's probably not worth it, but if a good design for a prototype was available and enough orders could be placed to sell the entire roll worth of Dyneema it might be more attractive to develop.
It may just be easier to buy a siltarp locally or import a dyneema tarp....

True. He would need to be sure of selling enough.

I had another idea for him - a scope and action cover. Last time I was out in heavy rain I got quite a lot of water seeping into the chamber. This looks like it would actually be useful for a long carry in the rain for a hunter: https://youtu.be/L3JWOw-EiJc at 12:30. And if it was made of dyneema it would be incredibly light and 100% waterproof.

This stuff is well worth a look. Very well made.

Their packs are very light and not expensive, and can haul a load.

I'd be keen on a fly but but would want round 2.4×3 but that would depend on final cost

Can take a good load and strong, but the fabric can tear because of its extreme lightness. Ive patched mine in a couple of places but its had a hell of a life. Ive just bought another one - the new 42 litre very light roll top one. Its incredibly light.

I carried all of this (including the head tied to the back) for a couple of hours last roar and it did it ok. When I got to the boundary fence and had to chuck it all over to the quad I could hardly lift it and tore the mesh pocket on the back on the top barb wire. Its repaired ok with tape though.

So far he has shown great customer service and we have been discussing a few more products that will be on the horizon hopefully soon.
I will point out I paid full retail on the products I have so there is no onus on my to give favour just an honest review. More to come.....
How do you get hold of him? I Googled Kaweka Gear and came up Zero.
