    In my experience you don't want to buy neoprene gumboots where the rubber outer only comes to ankle height i.e Grubb Frostlines. I'be blown out a couple of pairs of these , there is too much flex in the neoprene/rubber junction.
    Muckboots with the rubber outer 3/4 height have been much better, a bit heavier/stiffer but stay together. I have done 20+ km days in them chasing pukekos on the West Coast
