Warehouse usually have Aqua socks for around $12 pair.
If you want more height then Torpedo 7 have ankle dive booties for $50.
Search the net for reef shoes, kayak shoes etc. plenty of really light options and in a real jamb they make great fire lighters !

Neoprene beach shoes or dive boots.

I have something similar which is a rubber over booty like the Gubba.

I bought them from a gardening centre. Super lightweight, compact as you can imagine where I just wear socks inside them but I prefer to take a pair of crocs.

Crocs are more comfy but also more robust for other purposes such as crossing rivers to save getting boots wet
