All NZ coded and other country beacon's signal go to the nearest LUT (local user terminal - satellite station). In the NZ, Taupo will be the first point of contact. If it is NZ coded, then RCCNZ in Wellington will be advised of signal. Au coded both Au & NZ. It is only the registered emergency contact information that is with the respective beacon's HEX ID country code. If NZ want to know who it is, they just contact that country's database centre. They are all SaR within a global network.
