Look at there listings the other day. Sharp pricing just a shame we a getting ripped off here in nz again. Prefer when i buy one it goes direct to nz center not via aussie with a 15min time delay?

bigbear; not sure where you are getting the 15 minutes and going to aussie centre not nz. All NZ coded and other country beacon's signal go to the nearest LUT (local user terminal - satellite station). In the NZ, Taupo will be the first point of contact. If it is NZ coded, then RCCNZ in Wellington will be advised of signal. Au coded both Au & NZ. It is only the registered emergency contact information that is with the respective beacon's HEX ID country code. If NZ want to know who it is, they just contact that country's database centre. They are all SaR within a global network.
