    Had a pair of meindls and a pair of lowas fall apart on me pretty early on. Moved to Salewa crows, super light weight which makes a huge difference and they're hard as buggery. Do have synthetic sides but I always wear canvas putties anyway. Pretty narrow fit for a lot of people so best to try on before buying online if you go that way
