I've had very little luck tracking down its heritage , and some very knowledgeable people have been trying to help ,
from the pattern and a few manufacturing details it was made sometime between 1850 -1890 . That's a bit vague I know but its the best I've got
I carry it everyday at work , and it earns it keep .

Just picked up two new knives from the makers , the steel is AEB-L, hornbeam handles, with the curve of the handle and blade, it follows the palm of your hand with your finger on the blade tip to open up the bellys.
Got them for two friends in the USA as this maybe the last time I see them for a long time if my immigration to NZ comes through.![]()
