I have a couple of Rab bags.
Had the halo, didn’t rate it.
Had a macpac, was good but heavy
Moved to a Rab mythic 600. Love it!
Had it in -12 and still been warm.

I picked up a Rab Mythic 600 from a Facebook tramping/outdoor page for about half new price. Lightweight and warm as anything. A liner in minus 10 was too warm for me. Far too hot for hut use.

Everywhere seems to be almost sold out of spark 3 bags which is a good sign I guess. Still an option when comparing it to the cocoon -5 but I also need a new thermarest mat so money is in the equation too hahah.
My big one is to save a bit of weight but really pack size is key too.
With the xthurm you can run a less fill weoght bag for the same warmth remember its about the total sleeping system not just one piece

+1 for the one planet sleeping bags.
I'm very happy with mine (-3, using appropriate thermal liner depending on season).
On paper they just seem to be about the best value for money proposition on weight>packability>warmth offering out there.

One question for the guys rating then, what’s the difference between the Nitrous and Cocoon? Can’t find bugger all between them despite weight and price. Specifically comparing the cocoon -5 and the Nitrous -3
    @WildBrad
I bought mine from TreknTravel website (Hamilton shop)
    https://trekntravel.co.nz/shop/one-p.../#&gid=1&pid=3

The Nitrous - only half a hood, ultra lightweight, it's heaviest and warmest model -3deg weighs 600grams. At <$600 The less warm models weigh less and are cheaper.

COCOON - Full hood, zips from top or bottom. Temps and weights vary depending on model. I got the -8deg, small, 800loft weighs 710grams- $660

Another option for purchase is Southern Adventures in Invercargill
If you join the VIP (for free) there is 25% off pretty much everything in their Autumn sale at present
I brought the new Osprey Aether Pro 75l yesterday and saved 25%
Applies to the One Planet bags etc
They have Facebook page but no website Good to deal with and profits go to Scout Association NZ as they are an independent store
