Thread: Topo50 print to scale

Has anybody had any success being able to print out custom topo maps from the web that are actually at a proper 1:50,000 scale? I quite like going old-school nav with a proper compass including using the roamers for getting grids, but obviously there's no go if the KMs aren't 2cm wide.
Yes I know I can purchase a standard map and often do, but it's just a lot easier to custom print a selection especially as the location needed always seems to run over the edge of one map into another

Years ago I took maps into printing place...too easy to get them to make them whatever size you require.

done it heaps.
print on waterproof paper - last for years.
