    Not sure what the story is these days, was Landcorp I think, some might be DoC now. You still have to get permission. The Marlb F&G would know who the farmers are. They should help you... but?

    Used to stay on Camden. It's sold but I think yu can still bunk there. Not sure tho.

    these rakaia quail are still making a mug of me the crossing angled shot is my nemesis they came one after the other 5/6 ina row and i missed them all inside 20/25 metres
    to top it off the dog pointed and flushed the biggest nth canterbury pheasant iv,e seen for a while

    are you lifting your cheek from the stock,common problem when shooting over broom on riverbed,keep that gun moving,don't stop on trigger pull.remember angle and lead change rapidly on a crosser,especially if shooting close.

    dont think so im only getting one shot per bird as the drop in to the broom over banks or higher scrub
    its the angle thats stuffin me. left to right should be a lolly for me but its crossing with like 30 t0 45 degree angle away and by the time the angle brings them briefly tail on theyre behind or over something
