    Wind driven wing spinners

Just scrolled back through 51 pages of threads....and can't see any reference to these objects of frustration. I bought two.first was also battery driven, has small wings about 4" long. Worked ok on battery but noisy.as for wind driving it.by time we have enough wind to make it spin, the plurry thing coming off pole n whitecaps on waves. Next was mojo version.i see these still for sale $99 each.wings are cocked slightly.again by time enough wind to make them spin the wave movement makes it redundant.tried all sorts to get it spinning in lighter breeze.reversed wings, lubed with every concoction known to man kind. Recently I pulled both out of shed. Drilled hole right through body of older jobbies and put wings on piece of #8 wire.well fookmesideways it works MUCH better. So pulled wings off mojo version, undid the screws holding wee plastic wing holers in place then pulled them out too.made nice straight bit of #8 long enough to thread through both wings n body of decoys.put small wood screw in the hole in wing base( previously not used) and well if we got bit more than mouse fart I would know how well it's worked now wings hooked together. Got wee gust won't the other day that set it going, leaf blower makes them spin from good distance away so HOPEFULLY it's a good work around. Will keep ya posted.
