Thread: How far can you surfcast

I have never measured the distance, but educated guess is aprox 100 to 120 yards if I get it right.
Good quality rings are a must, and I also spray mine with ptfe for extra smoothness.
One of the most common mistakes that I see is not loading the reel up enough. You need to fill the line as close to the edge of the spool as you can without it spilling off of its own accord.
