Thread: How far can you surfcast

Just to second veitnamcams comment - my casts got a whole heap better when I put on some decent braid on my softbait rod and a kahawai lure. Goes for miles now.

I also found switching to this technique a lot more effective and efficient. I can usually get roughly 3 casts per minute down at the mouth. Might be a bit impractical on the bigger rods but works a treat on the softbait and trout rods. https://youtu.be/TxOI3xdN-qY
