Thread: model 7 as platform for long range ?

I have a Model 7 in 260Rem and it shoots very well. I did replace the trigger and stiffen the stock with epoxy, removed the presure bedding at the front of the barrel channel. I also imported a couple for fiberglass stocks a number of years back. It was a dream to shoot.

Used it for long range matched and hunting to 600m. It does get much use these days as the barrel is shot. Will spin something on it at somepoint soon, maybe a 22-250 or something like that.
