NZ Shooting Ranges - map and contacts

So have started (only 4.....) to map on google, where all the shooting ranges are in nz (not private only ones).
The general thinking behind this is for people to beable to look at where they are going for the weekend, or if they have a hour free and in a new town, to beable to find a range close to them easy, with some kind of info on what the range is and how to shoot it.

Sort of easy in some ways, everybody here, pins their local range, to the map, and some basic details, then everyone can see it.

    Map is at - https://www.google.com/maps/d/edit?m...v8&usp=sharing

Of course if clubs etc, want to put it on their web sites, thats all ok to.
Its public edit at the moment, and depending on QA of info ending up on it this may change, but cant lock it down and expect lots of info.

Whats the general thought, ok or shit idea?

Have added Wgtn Pistol Club and HVDA - with HVDA a check of the range calender is preferable before a trip as it can often be booked out

Great idea, shame our dovedale range has just become members only access due to a few key hirers abusing the privilege, will still load it on because it's only $50 a year to join

Thanks to all for putting in ranges! The map is starting to look good.

    Hopefully helpful to people.

I had a look on the phone this morning, and certainly will make it easy for driving to new ranges. ie click pin, and hit navigate to.

Bear in Mind, quite a few of the NRA ranges ie Clevedon and Akarana are on privately owned farms and you can only attend when the club has a shoot on, otherwise bloody good idea

Becker, bloody good idea. If Only I was a bit more technical than the hole in a doughnut I might be able to add some in but I am fucked if I can work out how to do it.
It takes 43 muscle's to frown and 17 to smile, but only 3 for proper trigger pull.
What more do we need? If we are above ground and breathing the rest is up to us!

Depending how it displays in your browser just mouse over the thing that looks like an exclamation mark to add a "pin"
    Find your range
Add Pin with leftclick and a menu displays saying what sort of range it is
Add the range website to the details box if the range has one

If it all goes titsup hit the rubbishbin icon

    Good luck

On ya Stretch. Whack in the NZDA range at the Riverhead forest (entry via Forestry Road, Kumeu) and then immediately overlay the Omni Target Club in the same location.
