The cherry sauce was so good I had to make something similar for my hare backsteaks tonight. I browned the trimmings in a pan, then fried onions and garlic in butter in the same pan, then added the cherry paste, red wine, parsley stalks etc etc and reduced until thick. Served with mashed potato and peas
