With this cold wet weather were having I decided a Bacon Bone Boil Up would hit the spot for dinner tonight so I got this lot on the stove simmering away.
Will make some Dough Boys and drop them in a little later this afternoon. :)

Oh yay, Pete...dough boys, nom diddy nom:D...have made a venison mince stew, with pumpkin, peas, onions, potatoes, Jerusalem artichokes, bay leaves, juniper, half a bottle of pinot noir, reconstituted ceps...the whole nine yards in it...come Wednesday lunchtime I will be over it as there is enough to last that long...

This pot of Boil up will last me a couple of days too ..... unless my mates turn up then it won't see tomorrow :D
When I do a stew I always freeze some of it and have it at a later date.
Here's an update after a couple of hours simmering on the stove ...... smells delicious already :)
