    Haven't ad proper mussels for about 5 years. living in aussie until 18months ago and just don't get out to get them there. I was there 10 odd years.
    oddly enough came over for the lads u17 club footy trip to the north island. Only kiwis in the group. Had a feed of greasies at a fish and chippy just back from Kelly tarltons. second time I've been there. Fantastic feed. Suggested they try the battered oysters and mussels-for some reason they don't batter oysters in NSW
    general consensus was they were very good. Mussels not as much but still alright.
