Those grey ghost on Steward Island are cunning little buggers, very lucky if you see a bum. Look for a F/ chip shop that sells fresh sea food, get a pot of opened raw mussels and have them cooked as fritters with a scoop of chips, You will taste the difference to the steamed ones.
