Thread: My Ruger 10/22 journey

So went and had a play with the red dot holosight today and let's just say I couldn't get consistent results with it, I found that if I got it sghted in taking standing shots it was on the piss for sitting/crouching shots etc and if I didn't shoulder the rifle exactly the same the poi would shift dramatically.
Due to the type of shooting I intend to use this rifle for that just wasn't going to cut it, so I went home and chucked the tasco 3-9×40 back on and went back out and shot this group, standing @ 50 yards first time.
I think that'll do.

Of note the trigger is terrible but I have someone lined up to do a trigger job on it.
I do have one question, the group I shot is about 1/2 " left of where I want it, my scope is 1/4" @ 100 yards but I am shooting at 50 yards how many clicks do I adjust to move left 1/2 " ? Sorry if it's a dumb question but I just can't get my head around it
