Actually the paranoid cynic in me understands this. Anything electronic can be hacked. And imagine if crims had the motivation to pay a hacker to access the GPS in a cop car.......Want an MSSA, just look at where they are parked up and head on over.....Want to know when they will knock down the door to retrieve the stolen MSSA / police car....thats OK just look out for the GPS. Any tech you can think of has two sets of applications; the ones it was designed to do and the ones that it can be used for. The only tech that cannot be abused or misused is the tech that was not present to be used. Cant stab someone if there is no knife. Cannot die in a motor accident if there is no vehicle. Cannot win the rugby match if the other team does not turn up.Cannot hack a computer that is not there.
