    This would definitely be something I'd shoot with iron sights but something I hope I'd not shoot with a scope. That first shot did look lethal though. Those truely are mighty beasts to be able to get back up from that sort of injury.
    I'd have asked the guy holding the camera to 'pretty please delete that'....

    p.s not bagging him personally (with the glorious benefit of hindsight) - just wanted to get the general consensus of what people think of of extremely close shots like this. Lots of fellas have told me that they shoot most of their deer within 50m. I'm really not sure why iron sights aren't more popular as they'd be better and much safer for these types of shots.

    Are there many guys who prefer Iron over glass?
