So take that clip off your blade, clean the blade with a file or sandpaper on a block of wood,
You want it smooth with no nicks or roughness.
The rubber strip on theblade is very important, if it's been replaced at sometime it must be a firm type of rubber, not at all soft
And it must be straight, again a file or sandpaper on a block of wood.
