It takes 43 muscle's to frown and 17 to smile, but only 3 for proper trigger pull.

He was very well behaved... He was like another dog and has come leaps and bounds from where he was. still work to be done but I now feel comfortable that he will not chase deer and obeys my commands in all exciting situations.

He has taught me to trust his nose ...... although it always seems to lead us to the thickest piece of bush in the whole area!

He led me straight to a stag about 400m from camp which i was too timid to shoot because the sika summer coat looked as bright as someone in blaze orange until it got seen us and bolted across in front of us.
His next fantastic effort for the day was to decide he wanted a pat when i was sitting on a ledge looking out over some open river flats and pushed me over the ledge (with him and us landing about 6m below on a rock face. Peeled half my thumb nail off on the way down and bunged my knee and ankle... Ankle is now ok but my knee is another story... think it will be a visit to the Doc......Titus is fine!
Was a long walk out for me.... All up 3 deer seen and 4 squeals . none in the freezer.
