She's awesome, often get asked "is he only young" (around 7 in the photos) now 9 and just slowing down, its easier to say "yes" - I should take a vid of her draggin on 7m of driftwood down the beach....(its my fault but she likes it) Apparently the boys were 50mm wider and taller and Gemma's around 33kg in the photos

Wouldn't be Thompson, Manitoba would it? Knew someone who worked up there for a spell after graduation and he said it was hellishly cold, which means a lot coming from a guy who grew up in fort McMurray!

Anyways, this mongrel isn't mine but she belongs to a friend and is one of the most intelligent and feisty dogs I've ever met. Would make an excellent pig dog I'd think, not that I know anything about pig dogs

“For us hunting wasn’t a sport. It was a way to be intimate with nature, that intimacy providing us with wild unprocessed food free from pesticides and hormones and with the bonus of having been produced without the addition of great quantities of fossil fuel. . . . . . . . We lived close to the animals we ate. We knew their habits and that knowledge deepened our thanks to them and the land that made them.”

Taken about 4pm today. 6 finds in 20 minutes. Drop to flush on all of them, but noticed the steam coming out of the ears by find five.

Sixth bird, Kaboom. Off like a shot, chased it for 100m. Didn't try and stop her, just laughed
