I didn't find the eye relief to be too much of a problem on mine but the FOV at lowest power wasn't flash. I have a VX3 HD with firedot on my .223 and can't fault it.

The eyebox I think moves considerably depending on magnification on the 4.5-14 vx3i which gets frustrating. We replaced with 3.5 -10 3hd and find it much more user friendly and clearer.

The 3.5-10 is far more forgiving in eye relief too

If you can’t find any tikka 308 second hand , then buy new. You won’t regret it.

All will do what you want. 223 is a great caliber but more limited, but ammo is cheap. 308 is probably the best all round caliber on the planet. They would be my first choices. If you want a cheap...

There is a range at Mcleans island you can visit as a guest, I think you pay $20. As others have said there are issues with someone else setting up and zeroing your rifle. Eye relief needs to be...

It would give me less piece of mind having someone else sighting my rifle in than sighting it in myself. The point of impact shift between people can be considerable.

In my experience rifles that are sighted in for one person don't necessarily shoot to the same poi for another person. Do it yourself

A "culprit pig"..... The fence line was no problem for this boar, he just went straight through it. 225375 Some farmers must get tired of fixing up fences/paddocks because of pig damage?

Servicing the batteries on a PLB is a rort. There is little reason why changing the battery shouldn't be end user maintenance. PLBS should also be heavily subsidised or at least GST exempt.
