I just cut a 1” hole in a cardboard box. For long range 2-300m I use chemist warehouse handwarmers. About the size of a large teabag. Pin one to target. I think they are around $7 for 10

Thort il test my elevation with thermal clipon on in the dark.Got a small tin filled with hot water and taped it up.Had a old sock in fridge so that was stone cold.Had tin in sock hung on target...

47 grains of 2208 and any 150 grain bullet in any .308 I have met is a good load. And if you cant kill a red deer or a tahr with a 150 grain .30 cal, Im not sure the sectional density is going to...
