Worth looking out for an older Leica ER 3.5-14 x 42, picked one up here (Scotland) for just under $900 NZD. Dial turret, side focus, light, excellent glass and good eye relief/box compared to FOV....

Read that a few months ago and made some slings to try the concept, a few things to mention: 1- You need to make sure your sling swivels and stock can withstand the tension exerted by this style...
