Got-ya liked post by GriffyGriff On thread : Browning Blr takedown
I thought I’d share my experience with a BLR 81 Takedown .308 I’m nearly 60, but still quite good with scoped rifles, but all the rifles I have are not ideal bush stalkers, so I thought I’d change...

Got-ya well they do for the 17wsm. Jard semiauto that looks like an AR 15 but is dear as poison. Plus all the ammo for the 17 is made in the same factory just different packets/branding. Really...

Got-ya liked post by Kiwi Greg On thread : Is the standard for a hunting rifle 1.5 moa?
The thing is like it or not a hunting rifle system (including operator) that consistently shoots 2 moa or less will work fantastic in the field A 2moa group at 700 yards is only a 372mm, 14 .66"...

I guess his point is 1.5 is the min or average accuracy for a hunting rifle. But if that's what you hit on the range, you'd be worse in the field, and then extrapolate that past 100m. Sent from my...

It was never offered in a semi auto, or even much of a selection of rifles at all.

Got-ya liked post by Cowboy On thread : Lever guns - What do ya reckon?
OK, I'll add my bit though it's already been said. Blr all day. I've had a few levers. They're a mix of rough grindy actions. Poor accuracy. Low combs and terrible scope attachments. Tube mags are...

Got-ya liked post by JohnDuxbury On thread : Lever guns - What do ya reckon?
The point with lever actions, and particularly the Winchester 94'in .30/30, Winchester / Rossi 92 and the Marlin, is not that you can shoot fast with them, although they are faster than a bolt...

If you change from a bolt to a lever or semi you need to retrain your instinctive shooting or you will fire one shot and grab for the bolt handle.
