It was very easy. Got the ute to about 50meters. Oil and gas roads everywhere. But a couple of days earlier did a big pack out in the mountains for my sons elk so was happy with an easy one.

I dropped off the meat (about 100kgs) to a butcher and got it processed. My Wyoming mate will have it. My elk tag cost $US650 and a Wyoming deer tag is about $US350.

yes sadly with DOC if a local Area Manager has a strong drive to service Rec hunters then they may get a good deal in that area - but Nationally they are lacking in support - lets hope for a good...
