so if you building from scratch or rebarreling you could just as easy have a faster twist 7.62x39mm ,you could easy as use a .308 cal barrel too. I mean isn't that the same as the AR crowd are doing...

ok having used one for best part of 30 years...... they are great to around the 25 yard mark.....YES they will stretch further but its up close that they excel. you NEED to try out different loads...

ok look at it this way..... bush hunting is usually tight with most shots under 100 yards with the norm being under 50. deers vitals 6-8" so you really want a 3-4" group or better which isn't a huge...
