    I had a KLX250 revinned about a year ago, after the rego lapsed. It cost a bit over $500 in Christchurch. The bike was in factory condition, without modifications of any sort.

    Bikes made prior to 1990 are also exempt from the bullshit ABS stuff, so depending on how old your mudbug is you may not have issues, pretty sure you'll still need a brake declaration and some sort...
