Currently, Benchmark 8208 for 100gr and up, and Benchmark 2 for anything under. I'm also going to try SMP 763 with 130's once the range re-opens. H335 has also worked very well for me in the past. ...

Hodgdon have data online you can look at. Looks like Retumbo (AR2225) or H1000 (AR2217), or if nothing else H4831 (AR2213), should see you right.

Suppressed or unsuppressed, the ballistics are still the same obviously. The point is if you can't suppress it and do subsonic loads, it's going to bark like a 308 with supers, so why not just buy...

zimmer, Gordon's Reloading Tool is in the process of adding 2000-MR. 57jl, it ain't 760 and that's dangerous advice. St Marks was spun off years ago and their relationship with...

Goes great in 308 with heavies and anything else you might use 2208 in. Gets amazing speed with light bullets in my 6.5x47. It's quite erratic in this though and I think this is because of the...

You definitely need light bullets and to get them moving fast. 110-125gr. The 110 VMax is pretty violent, as is the Sierra Hollowpoint. The 125 Speer TNT by all acounts behaves pretty well at...

ANTSMAN liked post by Pommy On thread : 300wsm heavies
300WSM is a bit like 284 in the sense that it's designed to work in a short action but it really comes alive when you can seat the bullets back out towards long action lengths. With that in mind,...

300CALMAN liked post by Pommy On thread : 300blk vs 6.5 grendel with short barrels
I'm using a 20" Grendel, with some pretty stout loads, 120's @ 2550fps. The velocity and energy figures suggest it's good to 250-300m. Chopping one to 14-16" is taking it too far if you still want to...

G.I_Joel liked post by Pommy On thread : 308 projectiles, who's using what for hunting?
I'm with Woody on this one. Soft points are utterly reliable and the Gamekings have a really well earned reputation. I've taken one Tahr with one, 90m, 180gr spbt, leaving the muzzle @ 2700. Didn't...

Yup. Case heads on Norma are soft. You'll get stamps and smears if you try and push it whatsoever.
