   factory loads for the 6.5x55 suck if you want true peformance its a reloaders only cal haveing said that evryone is anal about speed if you hit a deer or pig in the shoulder with a 140 going 2500fps...

   that's a bloody good group from a $700 rifle mate theres some bloody good shooters in the sub k bracket now.... yeah mine shoots well too which is why I left it at 55gn byt but am keen to try upto...

   good rifles I have a 223 not as good as something more expensive but they shoot well real well in-fact just a little rough around the edges as barefoot said the stocks are not the best cheek out...

    I know the feeling the range I shoot at has been there a very long time at least 50 years but I don't no exactly the people (city foke) who built there houses near by and or sold on to new buyers...

    are DPT baffels all the same reason i ask is i have a new rifle comeing should be here tomorrow (260)and will be getting a DPT over barrel for it.... i currently have a 22cal muzzle can for my 223...

    I had a marlin (x7 also $700) in 223 before this ruger only sold cause I prefer detach mags my fingers are useless for top loaders but that was a sub inch gun at 100m to

    I was going goat hunting on Sunday gone and needed some ammo so I brought a pack of both Winchester and Remington I used 3 rounds of the win hunting but still plenty to test with will let you guys...
