   I would recommend an Opinel, can get different sizes. Simple with a locking blade and good steel. Nothing too fancy for a first knife.

   Given how difficult/expensive it is to get anything in the way of a lightweight and functional (non flexible plastic) Blaser stock, I wonder if there would be enough interest to dilute the set up...
