I did it to mine and I didn't notice much if any difference. Suppressing a 10/22 is not very effective, the action makes a bit of a racket Sent from my workbench

yep, it was one of the first things I did to mine . It quietens it down a bit , but more importantly its gentler on the bolt when the rifle fires .. T

I just wiped it with meths, taped it and then painted it. Probably more polymer by weight in a sako stock than on that AR.

yup my marlin model 60 loves the high velocity 42max will have to give the 42 max subs a try to see if it will shoot them like it shoots the HV rounds
