Load up 20 and go hunting. 1” at 100 will be accurate enough out to 300yds or so if taking shoulder shots on deer.

ADI have the data for 2207 with light bullets, and you can get hold of it, so go for it.

I made a case canular tool from a small pipe cutter just like Carlson Highway did...no "teeth" needed. The case is thin and easily manipulated. Here is a photo of a case I did a while back...it is...

Here is a bullet I had custom made by Accurate Molds. It is simply a modified Lyman 427098. This photo shows both the 43-214A and a JSP crimped with a Redding Profile Crimp Die 187429187428 ...

shooternz liked post by SixtyTen On thread : Casting for an SMLE
I ended up making my own copy of a Lyman M die as well as a 0.318 sizing stem. With my projectiles being around 0.3190 after powdercoating, there was no way they would seat in a standard sized neck....

shooternz liked post by gundoc On thread : Casting for an SMLE
The groove diameter is not overly significant if you are casting as the bullet will upset to the groove when it is fired. The bullet material displaced by the lands will swage into the grooves. A...

shooternz liked post by johnd On thread : Who would still buy MOA over MIL and why?
Places where the target system scores and relates to MOA such as FTR. Trust me converting Mils to MOA when someone is giving you windages and elevation in MOA and you are converting it in your head...

shooternz liked post by Marty Henry On thread : Suppressor and load dev
I think Jhon has the right idea. I feel that for a hunting rifle the idea of developing an ideal load is actually pretty pointless if anything you chuck down the barrel prints about 1 moa anyhow....

.308 or .30/06 will fill your needs nicely with a comprehensive range of projectiles available in the 150 - 180 grain range.

I lightly crimp my subsonics. I use Lyman dies and the seating die can be set to give a roll crimp.

If you have slotted screws (lever actions...) on the firearms you want to work on, make sure you get a decent set with hollow ground slotted bits.
